However, you need a stump grinder for this, renting one is going to be more expensive long term, and you don’t know how to use it either. The only problem with this method is that the roots are going to stay in their place since you will get rid of the stump but not its roots. So, you need to think about which method is the best for you since, if you want to plant a new tree, you need to remove the entire stump.
